The task was to prepare a storyboard for one of the ballads by the Czech author Karel Jaromír Erben. The proposal for the film adaptation of this ballad takes place nowadays and deals with the idea of the purpose of life. The main character is alone, abandoned, without family or fiancé. In deep depression, she makes a wish. Better to die than live. The story continues with unexpected visit by dead fiancé and the main character decides to leave everything behind and enter the afterlife with him. The imaginary journey takes place as an interview, and both characters recall the common past, which leads the bride to reflect on her own life, desires and future...
